MEMS 3000 - Alcohol Monitoring

MEMS 3000

MEMS 3000 is a highly efficient monitoring unit, integrating breath alcohol testing (BAT), and automatic facial recognition. MEMS 3000 allows law enforcement agencies to monitor offenders’ breath alcohol levels remotely, as an independent measure

The MEMS-3000 utilizes a high resolution camera with 242 pixels x 200 lines that provides the monitoring center with a high resolution color image of the client. The Probationer’s image is digitally transferred to the monitoring center by pushing a single button. The camera is mounted behind a two-way mirror for the purpose of positioning the client's image properly prior to sending. When the image is transmitted to the Twenty-four-Hour Monitoring Center, the image is visually and digitally compared to the Probationer’s image file ensuring compliance with his/her home confinement program.  Violations are confirmed by the Monitoring Center, and are immediately reported to the Supervising Officer for disposition.

The MEMS 3000 Diamond Series Home Station can be customized to include only the electronic monitoring technology that a corrections agency needs most. Used as a Video Display Telephone, the MEMS 3000 plugs into an existing telephone jack in the client's home to transmit the client's image. Its integrated Breath Alcohol Tester can accommodate clients whose alcohol consumption must be monitored. Using its Video Display Telephone, both the client and the alcohol level are verified. Finally, for monitoring a client's movement, continuous signaling may be used via the Receiver/Monitor

Empowering supervision programs by integrating alcohol monitoring capabilities

Alcohol monitoring can be applied as a separate measure or in combination with different intensive supervision tools. When integrated as a “plug and play” component to a control center already operating Elmo-Tech Integrated Platform application, data from the MEMS 3000 is fed into a single database, which
manages the full range of offender monitoring tools for efficient case management and operational flexibility. Field units and transmitter models interchangeability enable the seamless transfer of offenders across different programs and monitoring applications for efficient resource management

Elmo-Tech Ltd. is a global provider of leading presence and location verification technologies, designed for monitoring individuals in the law enforcement, corrections and security markets. The Company’s strategy is to focus on the provision of superior technology solutions whilst collaborating with prominent local business partners to ensure the optimized distribution and service of its systems worldwide.

Additional monitoring tools available from Elmo-Tech under the Integrated Platform concept are:

  1. Voice verification
  2. RF presence monitoring (standard or cellular)
  3. GPS tracking (active, passive or hybrid)
  4. Group monitoring
  5. Officer safety tools

Remote alcohol monitoring devices measure the tested individual breath alcohol level, similar to the portable systems used by patrol police officers. Results are transferred to monitoring center officers, confirming individuals’ compliance with their program. Alcohol monitoring system can be utilized as a complete and independent measure of Alcohol use.

Features:

  • Continuous or on demand (breath)
  • Court accepted scientifically proven technology
  • Passive Visual Verification
  • Flexible reporting
  • No need for ankle device
  • Less invasion of privacy

The MEMS 3000 differentiates itself from all other monitoring systems by combining all three of these technologies into one fully integrated unit. With its advanced software and sophisticated technology, the MEMS 3000 Diamond Monitoring System is the ideal corrections tool for agencies of all sizes.

The use of the MEMS 3000 family of electronic monitoring equipment provides a positive, reliable means of ensuring client compliance. It provides a corrections agency with an alternative that permits the client to remain productive in society, while meeting community requirements for punishment.

DUI Attorneys

If your client is facing multiple dui charges, sign him/her up for alcohol monitoring prior to their first day in court.

Offer the court a detailed report, showing your client has not been consuming alcohol since their arrest.

This may keep your client from going to jail, or it may assist in lowering the sentence.
