But regarding family related murders, and state resources – The Problem is clear.
Florida leads, but California is a very close second in family murders.

The Solution: GPS monitoring with a twist: Victim Notification, for Family Court.
As judges have the power to order anger management classes, parenting classes, and restraining orders; GPS provides judges the opportunity to render their restraining orders, effective.
How it works:
When ordering a monitor, one person wears a bracelet, but the other is equipped with a receiving device that signals the intended victim when the stay-away area is violated. This provides the intended victim a head start in taking evasive action. Additionally, an audio device on the bracelet can also be triggered by the monitoring company to alert neighbors.
In addition to saving lives, state resources and police man hours are significantly reduced.

http://www.gpsrestrainingordersolutions.com works with all major providers to evaluate which device functions best for a particular, geographic area and court. (They also examine contracts, which, not surprisingly, demonstrates where sales representations, meet reality.) After a study, have learned not all GPS devices are created equal).
The job now is making judges aware how technology can level-the-playing-field, and reduce police man hours. Judges know when ordering restraining now can do so with greater comfort as GPS devices featuring victim notification renders these orders effective.
Why it’s needed now. The below ran in Utica after a Utica Police Officer Joseph Longo murdered his wife within Four Hours of their hearing.

I contacted each member of the Family Law section of the Oneida Bar Association to relay the solution. No response.
I next contacted the Utica Observer Post about the situation. Editors suggested I author the "guest column" below.

Although Probation Departments officials are not aware of the nuances of family court, officials do understand their effectiveness. My hope is family court judges soon, will too.
